| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This mild chorizo is made from a generations-old recipe by a family-owned company in La Rioja. The delicious pork sausage is seasoned with sweet smoked paprika - pimentón de la Vera dulce. It is all natural with no artificial preservatives. The flavor of this distinctive smoked paprika sets Spanish chorizo apart from sausages of any other country. Palacios was the first authentic Spanish chorizo available in the United States, and has been featured in the New York Times as well as Wine Spectator magazine. Their chorizos are fully dry-cured and ready to eat with your favorite cheese and wine, or just a chunk of crusty bread.

A nice change May 25, 2009 Bill Moor 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I cook and like to serve up something everybody is looking forward to, but with subtle little changes, i.e., Turkish for Mexicasn oregno, Spanish for Mexican chorizo, palm for olive oil, etc. Not fusion which, to me, is an onslaught for thrill-seekers, but just something that brings a "What is that taste? There's something special here. Come on, fess up." I thought this sausage allowed for such, especially in some French provencial dishes.
Very Good Chorizo April 6, 2009 Ruth A. CARRAWAY (ASHLAND, KY United States) Received the chorizo in a timely manner, it was well packaged. The diameter of the sausage was much less than I imagined. My son and I liked the taste. The vendor seems very conscientious to please his customers.

I was a disappointed when I received the product later than expected (after paying more in shipping than the product cost) and found that the product had expired almost 2 months ago.
Family Favorite November 11, 2008 Sharon Abbenhaus (Norfolk, NE USA) Spanish chorizo is not available locally. I have ordered this product several times and the family loves it diced into scrambled eggs. I also like to use it in pinto bean recipes and just sliced thinly on snack crackers.
Bravo! July 22, 2008 Victor Danemore (Midcoast Maine) IF you like to cook cocido or fabada, this real McCoy chorizo from Spain is for you. You can also fry/saute
the chorizo a little & enjoy with sherry or vino rojo.
