I was given a jar of these peppers as part of a Christmas basket from a Spanish business contact. I had no idea how expensive they were as an import until I found them here on Amazon, but I knew from the first taste that they were truly wonderful. Are they worth the price? You'll have to decide for yourself. (If you make your own tapas, probably the answer is yes.) All I can tell you is they are sweet, rich, and full-flavored--in fact, they go beyond full flavor into a high level of umami.
